I think being an artist is sometimes all or nothing. When I design graphics I always feel as if I am solving a problem. Finding a new way to publish a message or invoke a new feeling about something. I wish I could do that with my fine art like paintings, photography or poetry. Lately I think I need an adventure to revive my passion for photography.
What do you do when you need to recharge your passion for fine art?

Adventures are the best starting points.
I don’t know . . . look up, look down, look close, look far . . . I think it is about looking at everyday things and seeing them differently.
Stop looking for inspiration and be open to it coming to you by being mindful during those everyday moments ~ sometimes inspiration is in the little things rather than the big adventures. Kat
Great words
I think with fine art sometimes you just need to stop thinking, close your eyes, and put pen/charcoal/paint to paper only once you have made a start then open them and let your mind start working on the canvas
Good advice thanks
Look at the blog http://lifeinrelationtoart.wordpress.com. The blog titled Bound up Inside. She talks about the same thing. We all have it from time to time. Is probably good for us. And probably inspiration is working on a new idea on how and what to do, and hasn’t told you yet.
