This Week In Film……

Downtown Baltimore has been a great place to walk around and shoot photos this last week. The new pre-summer season is in full swing so tourists and walkers are taking to the street stretching their legs. As for me, I try to get out every chance I get! I never know when a cool photo opp will present itself. : ) I also photographed a friend’s wedding and took some Hipstamatic shots in between my shooting with my professional camera.

I think being an artist is sometimes all or nothing. When I design graphics I always feel as if I am solving a problem. Finding a new way to publish a message or invoke a new feeling about something. I wish I could do that with my fine art like paintings, photography or poetry. Lately I think I need an adventure to revive my passion for photography. Shooting a dancer in broad daylight : )

Good title huh? On Labor Day I had the pleasure of photographing an awesome dancer from Baltimore. It was a unique experience. The movement was fast and most of the time I said a prayer as I pressed the shutter. All in all I can’t wait to do it again!
